Elastisys Announces CEO Transition

Elastisys announces that Johan Tordsson has been appointed interim CEO by the Board of Directors as Robert Winter steps down as CEO during the beginning of 2022. During the transition Elastisys will recruit a new CEO that will continue to grow Elastisys on the international market.

“It has been an amazing time where we have grown from a handful to 35 employees over the last few years and built a scalable business with recurring revenues on the European cloud market with a world class team. Now it’s time for someone else to drive this organization and take Elastisys to the next level”, says Robert Winter.

“The board thanks Robert Winter for his significant contributions during these 5 years. We’ve built an excellent company and created great shareholder value under his leadership”, says Johan Hellström, chairman of the board. Winter will remain with the company in an advisory role, ensuring a smooth transition as the Board begins its search for Elastisys’ next CEO.

“Robert has done a fantastic job and Elastisys is in an excellent position for our next phase. We have invested heavily in product, team, and processes and we are seeing a fast growing interest in the market. Now is the right time to bring in a new leader as we enter the next phase of our journey”, says Johan Tordsson, founder, CTO and interim CEO.

Johan is one of the founders of Elastisys and has had a central role in the development of the company’s technical platform and business for 10 years. Johan has a background as a leading international cloud researcher with long experience of the cloud native ecosystem and the European cloud market.
