It is very easy to get started! You have two options. You can explore Compliant Kubernetes on your own with the open source version by following our installation guides over at the Compliant Kubernetes documentation site. Or you can get started with Compliant Kubernetes as a fully-managed service on any of our supported infrastructure providers.

The Elastisys Kubernetes Platform is a managed service, based on the Compliant Kubernetes software distribution. Compliant Kubernetes is a Certified Kubernetes distribution. That means that any tools or software that assume a working Kubernetes cluster will operate without issue on the platform. So if you can deploy to Kubernetes, you can rest assured that you can deploy to Elastisys Kubernetes Platform. That said, we do take a stronger security stance by default than Kubernetes itself, which will disallow certain insecure configurations and deployments. Please read the documentation for Compliant Kubernetes that discusses these restrictions for detailed information.
Our standard mutual termination period is 2 months, which can be changed up and down depending on customer preferences.

The various components in Elastisys Compliant Kubernetes are chosen as the best that the open source community has to offer. The vast majority (but not all) of the components are Apache 2 licensed. However, Elastisys confirms that Compliant Kubernetes and its Additional Managed Services (AMS) are NOT putting application developers (our customers) in a situation which obliges them to make their software or source code running on Compliant Kubernetes available to the public.Should we at Elastisys become aware of such an issue existing, we will immediately rectify the situation by replacing problematic components. We decided to name our Redis service “Ephemeral Redis” so that it’s not mixed up with a Redis offering including persistent storage. Our Ephemeral Redis service is purely meant for caching purposes and if you require data to be stored persistently we recommend our managed PostgreSQL service instead.
